The Story:

A super relaxed couple, Stephanie & Richard entrusted Wedding Concepts with the task of crafting and intimate celebration for 30 of their nearest friends and family.  The brief was to the point; we were to find a private location that would stand out as prime of example of the Franschhoek valley’s abundant natural splendor, arrange the best local country cuisine and wines, pay special attention to a delicately beautiful yet simple set-up, and order some of the Cape’s best summer weather.  The heart and soul, they maintained, would be brought by their guests.

A striking ceremony gazebo, adorned with silver birch branches, framed the picture perfect view onto the surrounding mountains.  An early dinner followed al fresco style under the massive Oak Trees outside.  Around one long table with crystal ware and silver glistening in the sun, the group was treated to mouth watering South African delicacies served in an uncomplicated fashion.  At dusk, the interplay between the lanterns, candles and whimsical floral elements in soft pastel hues created a fairy tale like atmosphere, whilst open fires and daybeds offered cozy breakaway spots.  After dinner, the dance floor was opened by an energetic Marimba band that had everyone dancing under the starry sky into the night.
Said Stephanie: “Having Hannes at Wedding Concepts plan our day allowed us both to relax and enjoy every moment whilst being safe in the knowledge that our wedding day was perfect for us; more than we could ever wish for.  My Mum and Dad said they'd never seen me so calm!"
