Take Our Word:

Don't be put off by old connotations connected to a specific colour - reinvent the past and lead the way!

The Story:

Roma, a buyer for one of South Africa’s top shoe retailers, was extremely up to date with the forthcoming seasonal trends and colours. She knew very well that metallics were back with a bang and that gold was the way she wanted to go. “Shades of gold with touches of Ivory. Rich textures and fabrications of gold. I want the room to ooze with style and elegance creating a feel of complete opulence."
And opulence is the best way to describe their wedding from beginning to end – starting with the ornate (and predominantly gold) embellishments in the Greek Orthodox Church, to the lavish canapés and cocktails served around the fountain at the Mount Nelson Hotel, followed by the decadent meal served in the hotel’s newly refurbished Ball Room – complete with dining tables which had specially been built for the occasion and to suit the decorative look.

The evening ended with a party to top all parties! And what would a Greek wedding be without the traditional breaking of plates! This wedding really did have it all!
