The Story:
Claudia and Jon both live in South Africa and love all that is natural. They spend a lot of time in Riebeeck Kasteel and Jon in particular, has a love for fynbos. This formed a strong theme throughout their wedding. Wanting to avoid the potential all night party that may arise with an evening reception, the couple opted for a relaxed luncheon in a breathtaking setting, with the company of only their nearest and dearest. Old Mutual House in Bishopscourt was booked and the scene was set. During pre-drinks guests were treated to live music by a Swing Band and together with sumptuous canapés and sophisticated drinks – oh, and lets not forget the views! - it was hard to get guests to take their seats for lunch! Long banquet tables placed on the Manor House veranda were decorated with indigenous flowers and a relaxed afternoon followed with lots of wonderful food and excellent wine! “Everyone absolutely loved the wedding. It was truly magnificent!! I wish I could re-live the day and take it all in again.” Before going home, each lady received a hand tied bouquet of flowers – completed with a thank you note from the bride and groom.
