Take Our Word:
Fun ought to be the key ingredient at weddings - the rest all falls into place!
The Story:
Take one British bride and a groom with South African roots, both living and working in Australia, and Cape Town as the wedding destination… Prepare for a celebration second to none. We struck a chord with Liz and Gordon, and their wedding day was an absolute pleasure to orchestrate!
When asked to best describe themselves in a few words, Liz came up with the following: “We are both quite relaxed, informal and fun loving, pretty open minded about most things!” This very accurate description set the tone for great things to come. Looking to incorporate a hint of Africa, but not wanting to overdo it – we worked with earthy tones, a Guinea Fowl inspired design on the Stationery and by predominantly using fynbos as their floral décor. This was held together by an all important thread – fun, fun, fun!
To date Liz & Gordon’s first dance, “Are you gonna be my girl” performed by Jet, remains one of our favourites - exceptionally well choreographed and outstandingly tongue in cheek, which made for delightful entertainment.
