The Story:

Tucked away on the outskirts of picturesque Tulbagh, we uncovered the perfect venue for Elouise and Johann to host their Provencal inspired countryside wedding celebration. The décor had to be minimal but striking and their guests, treated like they were having dinner at the couple’s own home. Contrasting hues of white and charcoal with touches of illuminating teal and an eclectic mix of old school pewter and modern crystal to complement the vibrant energy of a young couple within the context of a rural, vintage style venue. Beautiful, crisp white orchids provided height on the tables and to round it all off – hundreds of candles in different shapes and sizes. When guests took their seats, they were greeted by name tags neatly pinned to the back of chairs and cheekily worded menus. Speeches were well prepared though from the heart, and a sumptuous, authentic country dinner followed together with fine local bubbly and laughter in abundance. Wild dancing ensued and the official part of the evening was appropriately ended off with delectable cheeses and mini magnums.
