Reinterpreted and combined boldly, pink can make a pretty chic statement! Offset this with creams and browns, choose a mix of impactful containers & unusual elements on the table tops and invest in customised lighting as well as designer stationery.

The Story:

Elegant interpretations of pinks, cream and chocolate brown accents were to set the tone for Luann & Jaco’s Winelands wedding.  After the ceremony in Stellenbosch’s historic Moederkerk, the guests were entertained to Jazz music in an old worldly Franschhoek wine cellar transformed into a chic lounge space.  With the couple being real “foodies” a variety of exquisite canapés was served along with special wedding cocktails before guests took their seats for a lavish five course meal.  Dinner was appropriately ended off with a hugely popular “cheeky white chocolate cake”.  The reception area was stylishly set-up around a large dancefloor with a specially designed and slightly elevated two seater table for the newly weds to one side.  Careful attention had been given to the perfect lighting by suspending luxurious crystal chandeliers, clustering modern white shades over the dancefloor and uplighting the breathtaking surroundings.  Delicate pashminas and Franschhoek truffle boxes, all handmade for the occasion, were handed out as departure gifts – much to the delight of the guests who by then had experienced some of the best hospitality and dancing the winelands has to offer.
